true blood is the best thing out there. Alan Ball is my hero for bringing it to tv. i read the books - meh, but good on the lady who started the story rolling, even if she's (be honest) not a very good writer.

i like vampires more than werewolves, i like witches more than fairies. but i like sookie, she gets hated on too much by the fangirls. she barely gets time to breathe before some new problem gets dumped in her lap - she doesn't get months to analyze things - give her a break!

Anna Paquin rules! the first sign of AB's brilliance was not hiring a vapid, busty barbie doll to play her. true blood has brilliant casting with very few exceptions, hard to be perfect.

i admit, i prefer Bill to Eric, i just do. he's just a more interesting and compelling character. i'm sick of the Bill hate on the web. i don't hate Eric, i see him for what he is, a self-centered ancient creature and a survivor, but he's wrong for Sookie. i think the more the show emphasizes Eric and Fangtasia, the more it loses its southern feel. he should stay a side character, a shit-disturber. he is no hero.

this is, of course, MY opinion. i will not call you fucked in the head if you don't agree with me. i will not call you a mental case, delusional, emotionally stunted or a victim (or future victim) of abuse. but sometimes i will choose not to let these kinds of comments go unchallenged.
